February 14 is fast approaching and if you are hoping to find a date on that special day, here are some tips on how not to go dateless on Valentine’s day. But you might as well start now as time is ticking!

Look attractive – Start by enhancing your natural beauty with makeup. Put extra effort in fixing your hair. Wear clothes that complements your body. Finally, stay fit. This will surely catch somebody else’s attention!

Work out at a gym – At least you are sure that the guys you meet at the gym are physically fit, have more energy, and have better mood. You yourself may need to burn some calories, and at the same time, flirt with the hunks.

Put down your phone, remove your earplugs, and look up – Better yet, start a conversation with people in public. It would be difficult to meet anyone if you look so busy with a gadget and gives the impression that you are not open to conversation.

single friends

Hang out with friends who are also single – Thing is, you have a common goal – not to go dateless on Valentine’s day – and you can even go on double dates! And if this fails, you can always go out with your single friends on Valentine’s day and party like crazy. You might end up having more fun than going on a date!

Ask your close friend to set you up on a date with her boyfriend’s close friend – This is safer and less awkward than having to deal with a total stranger. Besides, a close friend won’t let you go out with a loser.

If you already have a person on mind, try catching his attention more this time –  Go to the place where he hangs out. Converse with him while touching his arm or pick an invisible fragment off his hair. Ask his plans on February 14 without mentioning it’s Valentine’s day. If he is available, he would be too guilty to turn down a date with you.

Smile – No one’s more approachable than an attractive smiling lady. It is not always the guys who should show initiative. Some of the shy types are always grateful to women who makes the first move.

And if everything else fails, go out with the person you cherish the most – be it your parents, sibling, or bestfriend. They will not fail you because Valentine’s day is a day to celebrate love and happiness with the people important to you.
