Justin Timberlake has captured many hearts over the years – and now it seems like he’s prepared to do it again. Except this time, he wants to hold on to people’s love stories, as well as their hearts.
As preparation for the video for the song “Not a Bad Thing”, Timberlake has reached out to fans worldwide, asking them to share their love stories with him. Instagram photos and Twitter length stories are the name of the game though – not three hour monologues. And the best, or his favorite stories may just make it onto the video.
What’s Not a Bad Thing?
And why this sudden call for love stories?
“Not a Bad Thing” is a song about taking a chance on love. And what better way to illustrate it than by reaching out to fans who have done exactly that.
This campaign, launched under the hashtag #notabadlovestory is certainly pulling in the fans hoping to immortalize their love on Timberlake’s video. And, with catchy, loving lyrics, like:
Now how about I be the last voice you hear tonight?
And every other night for the rest of the nights that there are
And every morning I just wanna see you staring back at me
‘Cause I know that’s a good place to start
So don’t act like it’s a bad thing to fall in love with me
… who wouldn’t to be included? Even if you have nothing to share, this love song is sure to get stuck in your head. And, truly, that’s not the worst thing that could happen to any music lover.
If you are ready to submit your love story for a chance to be featured in the video for “Not a Bad Thing”, you can head over to Justin Timberlake’s website. But, why not listen to the track here first.
